Feasibility of cardiac holter monitors for detecting arrhythmias in general practice

Our local digihealthwell team and other clinicians leading on best practice in the management of cardiac conditions and especially atrial fibrillation (AF), have been recognised as one of 10 national AF Pioneers by the AF Association as a Healthcare Pioneer – Showcasing best practice in AF, 2022

See the AFA Pioneers Report case study: Feasibility of cardiac Holter monitors for detecting cardiac arrhythmias in general practice, has now been published in the AF Assoc Healthcare Pioneers Report 2022 – showcasing best practice – which can be accessed via: https://www.heartrhythmalliance.org/afa/uk/healthcare-pioneers-report/case-studies/52

Dr Ruth Chambers OBE: “I am thrilled that my team and I have been recognised as AF Pioneers. Detecting AF can be challenging if the AF is paroxysmal and doubly challenging in the context of COVID-19 when seeing patients face-to-face is difficult. We found a way to address these issues in selected Staffordshire general practices and I hope we inspire others to do the same."
