Practice reports
It’s good to be aware how your day to day achievements as a practice team compare with others in relation to how healthy your registered patients are compared with other practices like yours with patients of a similar demography and level of deprivation (or affluence).
So you can take a look at how your practice’s prevalence rates for asthma/diabetes/blood pressure say, compare with the CCG average
or national average; or how well controlled those patients are e.g. percentage admitted to hospital or what percentage have acceptable controlled blood pressure or blood sugar levels.
Take a look at an example general practice report capturing
many key long term conditions and quality indicators –which
you can replicate in your area with publicly available quality indicators..
